Refund & Cancellation Policy

Moz Web Development


1. Nature of Services

Moz Web Development provides custom digital services including website development, software development, SaaS systems, mobile applications, and digital marketing.

Due to the customized, time-based, and resource-driven nature of these services, standard refund policies applicable to physical products do not apply.


2. General Refund Policy

  • All payments made to Moz Web Development are non-refundable by default.

  • Once a project is initiated, resources, time, and effort are allocated, making refunds impractical.


3. Refund Eligibility (Exceptional Cases Only)

A refund may be considered only if:

  • The project has not been started at all, OR

  • Moz Web Development is unable to initiate the project within a reasonable agreed timeline, OR

  • A specific written agreement explicitly mentions refund eligibility

All such requests are subject to internal review, and the final decision remains solely with Moz Web Development.


4. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Once design, development, or any work has started

  • After demo delivery, milestone completion, or partial submission

  • Delay caused by client-side issues (content, approvals, communication, etc.)

  • Change of mind or business decision

  • Services involving digital marketing, SEO, or advertisements

  • Third-party failures (hosting, APIs, payment gateways, ad platforms, etc.)


5. Digital Marketing Services

  • All digital marketing services are strictly non-refundable

  • Moz Web Development works using platforms such as Meta and Google to deliver the best possible performance

  • However, no guarantee of leads, conversions, or ROI is provided


6. Project Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing

  • If cancellation occurs after project initiation:

    • No refund will be issued

    • Completed work remains fully chargeable


7. Milestone-Based Work

  • Projects may be divided into multiple milestones or stages

  • Each milestone payment is tied to a specific phase of work

  • Once a milestone is completed, that portion is non-refundable

  • Remaining unpaid work may be discontinued at our discretion


8. Milestone Payment & Project Continuity

  • In milestone-based or step-by-step projects, the client must clear each milestone payment and provide all required inputs before the next phase begins

  • Once a milestone is completed and delivered, payment becomes due immediately

  • Moz Web Development is not obligated to wait indefinitely for:

    • Pending payments

    • Client approvals

    • Content or required inputs

  • If the client fails to fulfill the above within 30 calendar days, the project may be put on hold

  • During this period:

    • Development resources may be reallocated to other projects

    • Project timelines will be extended accordingly

  • Even after payment clearance, project resumption will depend on current workload and scheduling, and immediate restart is not guaranteed

  • Extended delays may lead to revision of timelines, scope, or pricing, if required


9. Third-Party Costs

  • Any third-party costs (domain, hosting, plugins, APIs, ads, etc.) are strictly non-refundable

  • These are governed by the respective third-party providers


10. Payment Gateway & Processing Fees

  • All applicable payment gateway charges, taxes, or processing fees are non-refundable


11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • Clients must contact Moz Web Development before initiating any chargeback or dispute

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

    • Immediate suspension of services

    • Permanent termination of services

    • Legal action, if necessary


12. Refund Processing (If Approved)

  • Approved refunds (if any) will be processed within 5–10 working days

  • Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method


13. Policy Updates

Moz Web Development reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the latest version.
